Biography:
Talia returns to the Penn Hills Cross Country team for her second consecutive season. In addition to distance running, she is also a 4-year member of the district’s tennis and swimming programs. Talia was named as the No. 1 singles player for the tennis program this year after playing doubles in her previous campaigns. This year, she advanced to the second round of the WPIAL playoffs.
Academically, Talia has been named to the High Honor roll and Honor Roll lists her entire high school career and is a member of the school’s Page Turners reading club. She is also an active volunteer at her church, Hebron United Presbyterian Church in Penn Hills, where she teaches Kindergarten and 1st grade vacation bible school and helps with her local litter clean up team. Talia plans to continue her tennis career in college where she will study astrophysics and astronomy.
