Kemi Balogun on her second jump of the day made the state qualifying mark with a leap of 36'3" and a third place finish. Jonah Silverman took 4th place in the 800 meter run in 2:04.66. The 4x200 meter relay team of Jonah, Shamarr Holmes, Josh Lee and Alex Bell placed 4th in 1:39.23. The 4x400 meter relay team of Josh, Jonah Shamarr and David Hogan won the event in 3:44.40.
On Sunday at The Spire Scholastic Showcase in Geneva, Ohio, Miniya Pinnix took 5 seconds off her season time placing 10th in 2:18.48 qualifying her for the state meet. Eliza Brennan placed 19th 59.66,
The 4x400 relay team of Eliza, Miniya, Faith Crawford and Amanda McCann placed 7th in 4:11.04.
