Miniya Pinnix in her most competitive race of the season took over 4 seconds off her school record finishing a strong second to Greensburg Salem's Malia Anderson who holds the PA #1 indoor time this season. Miniya ran 2:20.01 which is over a second faster for the qualifying time for the state meet.
The 4x200 meter relay team of Miniya, Eliza Brennan, Drew Hines and Elizabeth Blackwell took first and qualified for the state meet with a time of 1:48.38.
The same individuals took first place in the 4x400 meter relay with a season best time of 4:10.33.
Eliza placed 4th in the 200 in 26.79.
Drew was 5th in 400 in 1:02.11.
Angelo Allen threw a season best of 40'8.5" bettering his pr by over 2 feet.
The team is off next week but will compete again at Edinboro on Feb. 9th.
