Sawyer Kinney led the boy's cross country team to an 11th place finish at the Bald Eagle Invitational on a rainy muddy day at White Oak Park. Sawyer place 27th with the time of 18:01. Brody Dougherty ran 19:36 placing 65th. Owen Templer finished right behind Brody in 66th place in19:47. Adam Rosemeyer was 80th in 22:25. Avin Keller ran 22:39 placing 82nd and Xavier Nicholas place 83rd in 22:52.
The girls ran 2 hours later in even worse conditions. Amanda Heide ran 33:37 and Nevaeh Mosley ran 41:46.
The team will be competing on Wednesday at Northmoreland Park for the AAA Section IV championship.
