Angelo Allen started out his indoor season with a win in the shot put in the frigid bubble at Edinboro University. Angelo's throw of 54'7.25" is the number one mark in the state. The 4x200 relay team of Supreme Saunders, Donnell Blackwell, Tindah Mofar and Roland Glenn placed 6th in 1:39.48. The 4x400 relay team placed 3rd in 3:51.20 consisting of Donnell, Roland, Paris Bey and Austin Stuchul.
Mackenzie McIntyre continued her promising freshman year with a 3rd place finish in the 60 meter dash in 8.19. Mylah Faulk placed 2nd in the 400 meter dash in 1:01.74. The 4x200 relay team of Mackenzie, Nia Jones, Kendyl Jones and Alexis Phillips were 6th in 1:58.20. The 4x400 relay team won in 4:18.22 for the second time this season. That team was made up of Katelyn Smith, Maliah Powell, Caroline McDevitt and Mylah Faulk.
The indoor track and field team will compete next Saturday at Youngstown State University.
