Monique Lites has been named as the new Head Varsity Cheerleading Coach at Penn Hills High School! Coach Monique takes over for Dr. Lisa Coffey who retired at the end of the 2024-25 winter season. We are excited for this next chapter of Penn Hills Cheer!

Coach Monique's statement is below:

I am honored to officially announce that I am the new Varsity Head Cheer Coach for Penn Hills School District!

Over the past four years, I’ve had the privilege of serving as the JV Cheer Coach, and during that time, I have gained invaluable experience and perspective. I am incredibly grateful for this new opportunity and excited to take this next step.

I’ve worked closely with Dr. Lisa Coffey, learning the ins and outs of this program, and I am ready to pour everything I’ve learned into continuing to grow and strengthen this program. Cheer has been a passion of mine for 25 years—and that love is as strong as ever.

But I am not just a coach. I am a mentor and I look forward to being a guiding presence for these athletes, both on and off the field—helping them grow not only as cheerleaders but as individuals.

Here’s to building, growing, and continuing the tradition of excellence at Penn Hills!
