Penn Hills Basketball GAMEDAY GUIDE 2024-25
Basketball Tickets & Youth Policy:
- TICKETS: Tickets are $3 for K-12 students and $5 for adults. We accept cash or online payment via GoFan: https://gofan.co/app/school/PA6519
- ENTRANCE: Tickets are sold at the gate (enter at entrance #10 by the flag pole). The entrance is open to fans 45 minutes before tip-off of the first game.
- FOR DOUBLE HEADER NIGHTS ONLY (12/10 Woodland Hills, 12/20 Armstrong, 1/7 Plum, 1/21 Hampton/Franklin Regional, 1/28 Shaler, and 2/7 Kiski/Gateway): Only the visiting team’s students and Penn Hills students will be permitted to attend the game. No students from other schools are allowed to attend on double header game nights, unless accompanied by a parent/guardian. This is in order to manage the larger crowds expected at double header game nights. Students in grades 9-12 are required to show their school ID to verify that they are PHHS students or a student from the visiting school. For schools without student IDs, the athletic directors will coordinate a plan for their students to be able to attend the game.
- PRE-K: Children younger than Kindergarten age do not need to buy a ticket to enter the school (admission is free).
- K-8 YOUTH SUPERVISION POLICY: Youth in grades K-8 must be accompanied by an adult parent or guardian when entering the school and remain with them during the game. These students will be given a different colored wristband indicating to security the students must be accompanied by an adult.
Spectator Rules:
- CLEAR BAG POLICY. To provide a safer environment for the public and expedite fan entry into our athletic facilities, The Penn Hills School District has implemented a protocol that limits the type of bags that may be brought into our venues. Exceptions to this policy will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection.
- PERMITTED BAGS INCLUDE (one per person):
- Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC. This includes clear backpacks, clear fanny packs and clear cinch bags.
- No buckles, grommets/hardware or decor can be concealing any part of the bag.
- One-gallon clear plastic freezer bags (Ziploc bag or similar).
- PERMITTED BAGS INCLUDE (one per person):
- All spectators will pass through metal detectors and/or be wanded by security before entering the school.
- NO ADMITTANCE AFTER HALFTIME (end of halftime). The gates will be closed and no spectators will be permitted to enter after halftime ends, even if they pre-purchased a ticket. Fans who are already in line will be permitted to enter.
