Penn Hills Varsity Football Game Day FAQs:

Q: Where are the stadium entrances/gates located and where do I park?
A: There are three entrances to the stadium:

  1. Entrance #1: Located by the Penn Hills High School Main Entrance (309 Collins Drive, 15235). There are steps that lead down to the home bleachers. Fans can park in the parking lots around the high school or in the upper parking lot. Please do not park in the fire lanes.
  2. Entrance #2: Located by the Baseball Field. Fans can park in the student lot (12198 Harvard Drive, 15235) and walk down the path to the entrance. Away fans will then walk onto the track near the scoreboard and enter the visiting team bleachers.
  3. Entrance #3: Located by the Fralic Center (20 Valmartin Drive, 15235). This entrance is for handicapped people (limited handicapped parking spaces available), community members who walk into the stadium, and access for those with a parking pass.

Q: When do the gates open to fans?
A: 5:30pm. Kickoff is at 7:00pm.

Q: When do the gates close?
A: The gates close at the END of HALFTIME. No fans will be admitted after halftime, even if you already pre-purchased a ticket. There is no re-entry at anytime.

Q: Can I bring a bag into the stadium?
A: No backpacks or large bags are permitted. Small purses are permitted and will be searched by security at the gate. No weapons or pepper spray are permitted on school property. These items will be confiscated.

Q: How are you ensuring a safe environment for spectators?
A: All spectators will be wanded by security personnel at each gate and all bags will be searched. Penn Hills Police will be on site to support event staff who are available to assist fans with any concerns.

Q: How much are tickets?
A: Only adult tickets will be sold at the gate for $5.00. Only adults ages 19 and older can purchase tickets at the gate. Students in grades K-12 from the home and away school only and who do not have a student pre-sale ticket (more info below), must be accompanied by an adult to buy a ticket for $5 and enter the stadium. Children younger than Kindergarten age do not need to buy a ticket to enter the stadium (admission is free).

Q: Which students are permitted to attend the game?
A: Only students from Penn Hills School District and the VISITING TEAM will be permitted to attend the game. Student tickets will be sold at all three PHSD schools and will be offered to be sold at the visiting team's school. No students from other schools are permitted to attend, unless they are family of a student-athlete and enter the stadium with an adult (ages 19+).

Q: What is the adult supervision policy for youth?
A: All youth in grades K-8 must be accompanied by an adult (ages 19+) when entering the stadium and remain with them during the game. High School students in grades 9-12 are not required to have an adult present during the game. Students in grades 9-12 are permitted to enter the stadium without an adult as long as they have a student pre-sale ticket.
