Penn Hills Alumnus Nominated for Grammy

Charles "Scootie" Anderson was a member of the cross country and track teams at Penn Hills. He graduated in 2010 and followed his love for music when he moved to LA. Scootie and his friend, Michael "Mikey" Foster (McKeesport grad) created the music group Social House. They have been collaborating with Ariana Grande and most recently were nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for "Boyfriend" with Ariana Grande. Social House is going on tour in 2020 and will be in Cleveland, OH on March 21! Scootie even represents Penn Hills by wearing a PH letter on his jacket.
