Angelo Allen started out his indoor season with a win in the shot put in the frigid bubble at Edinboro University. Angelo's throw of 54'7.25" is the number one mark in the state. The 4x200 relay team of Supreme Saunders, Donnell Blackwell, Tindah Mofar and Roland Glenn placed 6th in 1:39.48. The 4x400 relay team placed 3rd in 3:51.20 consisting of Donnell, Roland, Paris Bey and Austin Stuchul. Mackenzie McIntyre continued her promising freshman year with a 3rd place finish in the 60 meter dash in 8.19. Mylah Faulk placed 2nd in the 400 meter dash in 1:01.74. The 4x200 relay team of Mackenzie, Nia Jones, Kendyl Jones and Alexis Phillips were 6th in 1:58.20. The 4x400 relay team won in 4:18.22 for the second time this season. That team was made up of  Katelyn Smith, Maliah Powell, Caroline McDevitt and Mylah Faulk. The indoor track and field team will compete next Saturday at Youngstown State University. 

   

The Penn Hills Indoor Track Team kicked off their season with it's first meet in 2 years after being canceled last week because of a Covid outbreak at Edinboro University. Freshman Mackenzie McIntire in her first indoor meet had a spectacular day. She placed 4th in the 60 meter dash running a fine time of 8.11. Mackenzie also led off the 4x200 meter relay to a second place finish in 1:56.39. Jadyn Golden, Kendyl Jones and Alexis Phillips were also on that relay. The girls 4x400 relay with Maliah Powell, Larissa Lockridge, Caroline McDevitt and Mylah Faulk took first place with a nice time of 4:16.24. Mylah placed 3rd in the 400 meter dash in 1:02.73 as Caroline was 5th in 1:04.16. Austin Stuchul had a good start to the indoor season with an 8th place finish in the mile with a pr time of 4:54.55.The 4x200 relay of Cameron Thomas, Donnell Blackwell, Tindah Mofor and Paris Bey placed 3rd in 1:41.93. The 4x400 relay of Cameron, Donnell, Roland Glenn and David Hogan were 4th in 3:43.91. The team will be back at Edinboro next Saturday for their second indoor meet of the season.
