The Penn Hills Indoor Track Team opened up it's 2020 season this Saturday at Edinboro University. Angelo Allen continued his success in the shot put with a 4th place finish with his indoor pr heave of 47'8.75". Kiera Ward placed 3rd in the 60 meter high hurdles with an all time best of 9.90 seconds. Josh Lee placed 9th in the 400 meter dash in 55.53 and Eliza Brennan ran 1:03.90 placing 4th. Jonah Silverman ran an indoor pr placing 8th in the 800 meter run in 2:07.49. Miniya Pinnix won the 800 in 2:29.87. Kemi Balogun won the triple jump with a leap of 34'10".
The girl's 4x200 relay team of Eliza, Miniya, Faith Crawford and Amand McCann placed 3rd in 1:52.15. The 4x400 relay made up of the same girls placed 2nd in 4:21.66.
The boy's 4x400 relay team of Josh Lee, Shamarr Holmes, David Hogan and Jonah Silverman placed 3rd with the time of 3:50.63.
