Final Winter Sport Playoff Results 2018-19:

Girls Bowling-
FINAL UPDATE 3/18: The girls bowling team finished the season 12th place in the STATE! 
***UPDATE 3/11: The girls team made the cut at Regionals and are going on to STATES! The team will travel to Ephrata, PA to compete on Saturday, March 16th. 
**UPDATE 3/1: The girls will compete at Western PA Regional Singles on Fri, March 8th at Princess Lanes. The Team event is on Saturday, March 9th.
WPIBL Individual Tournament- Thurs 2/21

*The Girls Team has already qualified for Regionals too!

Boys Basketball-
****FINAL UPDATE 3/11: The boys basketball season ended with a 63-60 heartbreaker in the 1st round of PIAAs. Great season boys!
***UPDATE 3/3 The boys will play at Milton Hershey HS on Friday, March 8th at 5PM vs. Muhlenberg HS. Tickets will be available in the HS Athletic Office Tuesday through Thursday.
**UPDATE 2/27 The boys lost 46-59 vs. Moon in the WPIAL Semifinals. Their season is not over though...they have qualified for the PIAA playoffs which will begin on Friday, March 8th.
*UPDATE 2/22 The boys won 62-50 and will play next on Tues 2/26 at 8pm at North Hills vs. Moon.
WPIAL Quarterfinals- Fri 2/22 vs. Montour at Fox Chapel 8pm
 

Girls Basketball-
FINAL UPDATE 3/14: The girls basketball team finished their season with a record of 17-8 after losing to Oakland Catholic 27-39 in the 2nd round of PIAA playoffs. 
****UPDATE 3/11: The girls WON 42-25 over Hollidaysburg in the 1st Round! They will play on Weds 3/13 vs. Oakland Catholic at Fox Chapel HS at 7:30pm. Tickets are available in the HS Athletic Office through Weds 7am-3pm. Adults are $6 and students are $3.
***UPDATE 3/3 The girls play in the 1st round of the PIAA playoffs on Sat, March 9th at Altoona Area HS at 4PM vs. Hollidaysburg. Tickets will be available in the HS Athletic Office Tuesday through Friday.
**UPDATE 2/27 The girls lost 45-37 to Char Valley. Their season will continue in the PIAA playoffs!
*UPDATE 2/23: The girls won 55-43 and will play next on Weds 2/27 at 6pm at Fox Chapel vs. Char Valley
WPIAL Quarterfinals- Sat 2/23 vs. Franklin Regional at Norwin 1:30pm

Swimming- 
FINAL UPDATE 3/18: PIAAs Results- 200 Freestyle Relay team earned a 6th place medal; Kimani Gregory earned a BRONZE MEDAL in the 100 Butterfly and a 4th place finish in the 100 Freestyle!
**UPDATE 3/3: PIAA State Qualifiers- Kimani Gregory (100 fly, 100 free), Glenn Hanna (50 free), 200 Medley Relay, Freestyle Relay. Good luck to the boys at States on March 15 & 16 at Bucknell University!

Girls Indoor Track-
PTFCA State Championship 
Sun 2/24 at Penn State- Multi Sport Facility
Miniya Pinnix qualified in the 800. The girls also will compete in the 4x200 and 4x400.

*UPDATE 2/25: Miniya Pinnix ran a personal record in the 800 and placed 10th in the State!
The 4x400 relay also ran a personal record and took 9th place. Great job ladies!
