Penn Hills Varsity Indians added to their early lead in the bottom of the third inning after Sipple hit into a fielder's choice, London Irish singled, and Isabella DeCarlo doubled, each scoring one run.

DeCarlo earned the win for Penn Hills Varsity Indians. They allowed one hit and zero runs over five innings, striking out seven and walking two. Alexis Arms took the loss for Highlands Varsity Golden Rams. The righty went four innings, allowing 11 runs (seven earned) on 11 hits, striking out two and walking three.

Penn Hills Varsity Indians amassed 11 hits in the game. Sipple led Penn Hills Varsity Indians with two runs batted in. The right-handed hitter went 2-for-4 on the day. Pugliese collected two hits for Penn Hills Varsity Indians in three at bats. Burkovich stole two bases. Penn Hills Varsity Indians ran wild on the base paths, collecting six stolen bases for the game.

Madison Gorney went 1-for-2 at the plate to lead Highlands Varsity Golden Rams in hits.
